TRE® (Tension and Trauma Release Exercises) was developed by Dr David Bercelli (david-berceli.com) to support the body’s natural ability to release the muscular patterns of stress and tension held in the body. His research shows that humans, like all mammals, have a natural ability to tremor after a stressful event, helping the nervous system calm, the mind quieten, and the body rest and recover.
TRE® consists of simple, body-based exercises that gently stretch and fatigue the muscles, activating the natural tremor reflex. Tremoring is the body’s natural way to release excess tension, support nervous system regulation, and return to a relaxed state, often experienced as a sense of calm and physical comfort. Suppressing this instinct can make it harder for the nervous system to recover fully; TRE® helps restore this natural process.
TRE® is a body-based practice that helps the nervous system self-regulate so no talking is required.
Tremoring releases tension stored in the muscles, and can help support nervous system regulation and a sense of balance. It is a natural, safe process and self-regulation practice where you remain in full control, pausing or stopping the tremors at any time.
TRE® supports nervous system regulation and can help promote relaxation, a sense of physical comfort, and overall wellbeing. It can be used alongside other forms of self-care or professional support, and can help support overall nervous system regulation and a sense of wellbeing, in the same way that somatic or movement-based practices are often integrated into wellbeing routines.

Prices:
1:1 TRE® session - £60. Online or in-person sessions available.
Cancellations and Refunds
Appointments can be cancelled or rescheduled up to 48 hours before the booked time. Bookings cancelled within 24 hours of the appointment will incur a cancellation fee of £40. Missed appointments with no prior notice are charged at £60.
The Role of Tremoring
Prolonged stress can leave us feeling exhausted, burnt out, and disconnected from our lives. Many people find that tremoring can help the body release tension and gently return to a sense of balance and natural flow.
